When backing up EasyDose, you must backup to a location which is accessible by the SQL Server.
EasyDose data is served up to EasyDose by an SQL Server – normally MS SQL Server 2008R2. That SQL program may or may not be running on your machine (it may be a networked SQL Server).
When you backup or restore, the SERVER must be able to access the data. Locations such as My Documents simply aren’t acceptable because they generally (Windows Vista and above) have restrictions on who can read and write to that location.
